Ekron
Ekron was seeking a way to face and defeat Orcus.
He had an opportunity; a wish was granted to him. But the outcome of the wish was something unexpected.
- He saw his future,
- he knew how to defeat Orcus, where he hides his wand, and he knew he needed it!
- He died but his wish brought him back – but with a deadline and
- Altered reality around him. Or maybe moved him to an alternate reality a strange reality, evil was winning. But this reality will give him his opportunity.
Ekron, however was affected by this, his recklessness increased his need for chaos seemed to build. Finally, he had an opportunity. The deck of many things in his grasp. He took that opportunity stole the deck from his companions and fled.
Time passes.
Alone, Ekron sat, contemplating the deck.
The opportunity, the need, the temptation all too much. He had another chance to finish this now if the deck was kind to him.
“I will draw 4 cards he announced.”
He draws a card looks at it and
“Ekron Vanishes – nothing of him remains other than all his equipment, clothing and gear. Even the small ring he wore falling to the pile. The deck remains – it can be seen to shuffle itself then fade from existence – a slight laugh is heard – we pan back we are watching though a crystal ball, Orcus is seen looking on and laughing”
“Ekron’s form coalesces entombed in a state of suspended animation in an extradimensional rough sphere of Amber. We look around it is a room of Amber Doors, and other Amber prisons. It is bitterly Cold and Dark. Bats flutter, a distant wolf is heard to howl.”
